This is cheating. :) This photo was taken sometime last year, looks like in the spring from the state of the field. This is Matt driving the manure wagon. The orginal photo was very washed out since everything was still dead and it was very overcast that day. I changed it to b&w in photoshop and decided to keep his jacket in color since it was a nice red.
Ok, starting over. This is my photo blog. My goal is to post one photo weekly in an effort to continue practicing photography. Obviously, I stopped doing this for quit a while, but having a child and buying a house will do that.

fireworks3
Phil and I spend the 4th of July at my parents house. Everyone seemed to enjoy the passable potato salad I made. ^.^
I had plenty of fun taking shots of the fireworks my dad and brother set off. It took a while to get the camera set to take night photos, long exposure time meant I missed alot of shots, but I still managed to grab some good ones. Head on over to the flickr set to see a few more firework shots and some shots Phil took of us being idiots with sparklers.
And to note this one also had no photoshopping done on it, just resized.

Maddox Farm House
Now that I finally decided what to do with this blog it's time to get started!
Phil's parents got us a fabulous digital camera for our wedding and I don't use it enough. Truthfully it has so many buttons and options I was terrfied I would just lock the damn thing up forever. But through trial and error I finally feel confident enough to start posting my images online. (it seriously took months before I stopped taking nothing but blurry photos!) So to start this off I give you the photo that took me the longest to take. This was taken at Motor Muster at Greenfield Village. Motor Muster is a massive car show with thousands of people visiting over the weekend. This photo took me ten minutes to take because people would NOT stop walking in front of me. Not to mention the Model-T's drive up and down that road and it was 90 outside that day. Yes please I enjoy standing in the blazing sun waiting for your butts to get the hell out of my way while I sweat to death.
Anyways, this was taken in sepia tone and not edited in anyway, just resized.
Many more photos from Motor Muster are up on my flickr site
